Tanner joined Insight Safari in 2014 and has proven to be a tremendous asset not only from a project management perspective, but also in delivering value for Insight Safari’s clients. From coordinating recruitment and interviews to participating in analysis storm sessions, Tanner brings a unique point of view and rationale that ensures Insight Safari’s work stays on course.

With over two years of analyzing human behavior in a shopper environment and a passion for sports, Tanner particularly brings to light the unique perspective of a very individual, fun-loving millennial for the broader Insight Safari team.

Tanner also holds a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.

That Escalated Quickly

No matter the project, our goal is to give our client fresh eyes on their customer and how their product, brand or service fits into the customer’s daily life. This is particularly rewarding when we can help a company understand the day-to-day experiences of a person with a chronic condition. Many times we’re able to delve into not only how a disease affects a patient’s health, but how it also impacts their identity, experiences, relationships and, ultimately, the course of their life.

We believe real change happens when these very real challenges are not only understood on the rational level, but resonate on an emotional level.

Not too long ago, Insight Safari conducted an intensive research project among patients suffering from a chronic condition that holds a considerable social stigma. Gathering patient stories about the emotional aspects of their illness was both challenging and life-affirming for our team. After we shared these moving stories with our client, their team elected to present our research findings to the CDC, hoping to achieve a sharper focus on the social and emotional issues patients face.
